What we believe

We seek God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit as witnessed to in scripture. Disciples of Christ do not hold to a creed or extra-biblical teaching as a test of faith. Instead, we traditionally hold to “No creed but Christ” and “In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, liberty.”

Our Essentials:

Jesus is God’s Son, our Lord and Savior.

The Bible, taken in context, is our greatest tool as Christians.

The Church is Christ’s Body on Earth, not divided by denomination or creed.

The Lord’s Supper is offered as often as we gather in remembrance of Christ Jesus.

Baptism is for believers and enacted by immersion, though we affirm other forms of baptism.

And, all Christians are called to share in the ministries of Jesus Christ.
